Welcome to the new Angel & Rubi Pet Care website! I’ve been offering pet services in South Manchester for a number of months now. I have a small selection of clients and have managed to get some lovely reviews on Google and Facebook. There is a lot of competition for pet services within Manchester though and I felt it was the right time to get my own website to help market my services.
Why Get A Website When You Have Facebook Already?
I’m aware that many dog walkers and pet sitters rely on other marketing means. Often this is word of mouth or being active on a Facebook page for their business. Facebook does support local businesses and causes quite well but it’s hard to give your business any personality that sets it apart from other pet service providers who will also have Facebook pages.
Now I will admit I’m not very techy and the idea of creating my own website was quite scary. That’s why I decided to employ Arwen Web Design who specialise in pet websites. They are not only handling the design, they are also going to get it to rank high in Google so that my website gets the attention of local pet owners. Being based in a populated city like Manchester there are lots of people regularly searching for dog walkers and pet sitters. I’m hopeful that my website will be one of the first they see when searching in Google.
As you will see this website also has a blog section. I hope to use this feature from time to time to discuss topics surrounding pet care. I have a few ideas but who knows what direction it will take. I may use the blog to highlight local pet related resources within Manchester. Alternatively I may also use it to highlight animal welfare issues that are close to my heart, for example international dog rescues (my two dogs are both overseas rescues).
More About The Face Behind Angel & Rubi Pet Care
I’m not really one who likes talking about themselves but I know some pet owners like to know a little about the person they are trusting to care for their pets. Well I’m Mandi and I’ve lived in Manchester all my life. I’ve always been passionate about pets. My current two dogs are the inspiration for the business name, Angel and Rubi.
As well as caring for cats and dogs I also offer care for horses, something very few pet carers offer. I have lots of experience with horses so it seemed a natural service to offer. Hopefully once you read the pages of this website you will have a good idea what we can offer in terms of pet care. If there are any questions though please feel free to contact me.
