Mandi has been great, she has looked after my pets and provided excellent service, sent updates and photos regularly and was a delight to talk about her pets diets and how I can improve my own pets diets. I would highly recommend Mandi’s services to anyone.
Pet Sitting
We have been really happy with Mandi and we would highly recommend her as a dog walker. Really thoughtful and caring with our dog. Mandi communicates well with us to let us know how Noodles has got on each day and she is very reliable.

Dog Walking
We’re really happy with Mandi and impressed with her professional approach. Our dog Roxy was nervous of her in the beginning but Mandi took her time to get to know Roxy and turned up with her favourite treat and a squeaky ball! I think she’s won her over and Roxy has great fun out with Mandi and her new doggy pal! Mandi is completely reliable and sends us lots of lovely photos of Roxy’s adventures.

Dog Walking
Mandi was extremely professional. She has walked our dog Rufus daily whilst we were on holiday & sent us daily updates of him having the time of his life! Not only this, she was not at all phased that he is a large young dog (40kg).

Frequently Asked Questions

If you have a question not answered anywhere on my website please feel free to contact me.

I offer a free meet and greet up to 30 minutes where we can chat about what your pet likes and dislikes and any health conditions we would need to be aware of. We also ask you to complete a more detailed pet information sheet looking at things such as the cues you use with them so we can also use those same cues. We may also have a short walk with you.

I will walk up to 3 friendly and socialised dogs, very occasionally we may walk 4. We choose to walk very small groups so that all the dogs receive individual attention. There is less likely to be conflict in the group, they can still play and make friends and the group remains more manageable and therefore safe.

Solo walks can be 30 minutes or one hour long. Group Walks are one hour long not including pick up and drop off time. Please note your dog may be with us for up to 2 hours ( pick up and drop off).

Solo walks are 7 days a week and can be early morning and evening as well as other times dependent on availability. Group walks are Monday to Friday, we offer 3 walk times. Unfortunately we are unable to give set times for group walks. Pick ups will be anywhere between 9am and 3pm.

Angel & Rubi Pet Care are insured with Cliverton Insurance which covers public liability to 5 million, care, custody and control and loss of keys. We are also DBS Checked (CRB) and have attended a face to face Canine First Aid Course with Vet Nurse Rachael Bean.

I ask you to sign a Vet Release Form at the meet and greet which will have emergency contact details on it. We would always contact you first and if your pet needs emergency treatment take them to either your allocated vet practice or the nearest vet.

Angel & Rubi Pet Care will only walk your dog off lead when we have a reliable recall with your dog. We also ask that you sign an Off Lead Consent Form. If however you do not want your dog to go off lead we will not let them off lead. Some dogs benefit from being on a long line to give them some freedom while we continue to work on recall (please note we are not trainers or behaviourists, but can work with you around basic cues). Please note if your dog is any kind of a flight risk or has a very high prey drive they will never be allowed off lead.

If your dog is anxious we can still walk them once we have built a bond with them. This may mean having a number of home visits to gain their trust. If they are then happy to come with us we can then walk them on group walks. Please note for anxious dogs we would advise that ad-hoc or walks once a week are not enough as it can take well over a month for anxious dogs to adjust to a dog walker. So we advise having at least 2 walks a week.

I cover South Manchester and some areas in Stockport for our puppy visits, cat feeding, dog pet sitting service and solo and group walks. These include Levenshulme, Burnage, Reddish, The 4 Heatons, Withington, Didsbury, Chorlton and surrounding areas. For our equine care service we cover the whole of Greater Manchester (please note some areas may incur mileage charges).

I’m all about your dogs having fun and we will provide stimulating walks, dogs will get wet and muddy we live in Manchester! We will towel dry your dog and ask that you leave towels out for this but we will be unable to get them completely clean. If requested we can leave them in a safe designated area.

I will walk whether it is pouring down or sunny but we do have a Hot Weather Policy. If it is unsafe to walk your dog due to extreme heat we can use few different measures. If safe to do so we will walk very early in the morning, if not walks will be cancelled and drop in visits will be
provided for people at work. We will also have to cancel walks for extreme stormy weather or severe snow. Again drop in visits can take place for people at work.

Unfortunately no we do not as their scent will attract unwanted male attention. We will offer drop in visits and ask that you let us know if you think they are having their season.
